Bill & Will on the Summit, with our Engine and Tender

Our engine and tender after the ride to the summit.  The tender holds the one ton of coal required to push the engine and one coach car up the mountain,
as well as about 600 gal. of water. It's refilled with another 400 gal. of water half way up -- 1000 gal. total for the trip.
The fireman gets to rest on the way back down the mountain, while the brakeman works on the coach. July 16, 1998
