Big Ben

(The name of the Bell in the Clock Tower on the North Side of the Houses of Parliament)

Big Ben,
looking west from the Westminster Bridge.
(Bridge ornamentation to the left.)

It struck 2:00 as I approached the bridge.

Looking up at the North & West faces.
Note guard fence at bottom, protecting Parliament.

Big Ben's tower is really large.
(7 windows across each side.)

And, from the west, towards Whitehall and Parliament Square.

Nearly time to strike the quarter hour.

Note the EIIR (Elizabeth Rex II) wrought iron crown decorations which double as a part of the spiky fence around Parliament.
